The Boston Celtics’ NBA title defense is hanging by a thread, but their biggest concern is the health of star forward Jayson Tatum, who had to be helped off the Madison Square Garden court after suffering an apparent noncontact leg injury during a 121-113 loss to the New York Knicks in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals Monday.

The St. Louis native went down late in the game with a non-contact injury that had him writing on the ground in pain.
