The stage is set for an intriguing championship game matchup in the 67th Caribbean Series on Friday at 10 p.m. ET on MLB Network and MLB.TV, between the Leones del Escogido (Dominican Republic) and the Charros de Jalisco (Mexico) at Mexicali’s Nido de las Águilas Stadium.

The Dominican Republic, coming off a 10-7 loss to Puerto Rico, will face Venezuela in one of two Caribbean Series semifinal matchups on Wednesday.

Puerto Rico has always brought strong teams into the Caribbean World Series, though they have not won a championship since Criollos de Caguas won back-to-back titles in 2017 and 2018. The Charros de Jalisco arrive undefeated to the 2025 Caribbean Series semifinals and will face the Indios de Mayagüez of Puerto Rico at Nido de las Águilas Stadium in Baja California.
