Ottawa Senators depth put to the test without Shane Pinto and Josh Norris
The club’s depth in the middle is already being tested. Josh Norris will be out for at least two weeks with an undisclosed mid-body ailment he suffered in Saturday’s 6-0 win over Minnesota. Green has been able to move forward Ridly Greig to the middle and he looks more comfortable there than he does as a winger.
Senators' Shane Pinto: Ruled out against Bolts
Pinto was riding a five-game winning streak before he was injured in Tuesday's matchup with the Lightning after logging just 2:57 of ice time. With Pinto on the shelf, the Sens will roll with seven blueliners Thursday, a move which will see Nikolas Matinpalo return to action after sitting out the last game.
