A large brawl which appeared to involve at least a dozen fans broke out at a men’s college basketball game between Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and Saint Louis University (SLU) on Tuesday, causing the game to be halted for a number of minutes.

The Saint Louis Billikens secured a crucial 78-69 victory over the VCU Rams on Tuesday night, moving into a tie for second place in the Atlantic 10 standings. However, the intense matchup was overshadowed by a wild brawl in the stands.

A fight in the stands near the VCU bench caused their game against Saint Louis on Tuesday to be delayed about seven minutes with 1:10 remaining.
